I really like this crash course from Zapier that explains what a REST API is and how it works. Each lesson is short and well laid out, with good visuals, and interactive exercises. A great resource for a beginner, or someone in need of a quick refresher! 🙂

Backing up your social media content
Backups are important. I’m sure you’re already in the habit of backing up your laptop and smartphone to protect your vital data. You probably use some cloud services to store original or backup data off site where you can get at it from any machine, even if your local device dies or is stolen or whatever. But what would you do if your favourite social media platform vanished overnight? Have you backed up all that data? Would you miss it? The photos, the life events, the funny comments shared with friends? Take action now and back up your social media content, and stick a reminder in your diary to do so again at an interval that makes sense for you, whether you’re a casual user, or an addict like me! Running Multiple Instances of Skype Simultaneously
Most companies I work with these days either ask me to set up a dedicated Skype account for business purposes, or set one up for me. If you’re trying to stay available to multiple groups of people, being stuck with just one Skype login at a time is somewhat restricting.
