{"id":669,"date":"2013-12-10T13:18:51","date_gmt":"2013-12-10T13:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.sharonmurphy.com\/wordpress\/?p=669"},"modified":"2022-08-29T18:31:37","modified_gmt":"2022-08-29T17:31:37","slug":"genealogy-map","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.sharonmurphy.com\/wordpress\/2013\/12\/genealogy-map\/","title":{"rendered":"Mapping Where Your Ancestors Came From"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Whenever I discover a new likely ancestor who was born, married, or died in a townland or parish I&#8217;ve not heard of before, I have to call my mum to ask whether it&#8217;s likely we had family living there. 9 times out of 10, she can tell in an instant that there&#8217;s no way we&#8217;d have people there, or that I&#8217;m on to a sure thing.
